Bringing in a Second Opinion

Book: Innovation and Entrepreneurship, By: Peter Drucker

1)    The general theme or argument of the book encompasses the innovations that entrepreneurs must include in their business ideas and how through innovations and marketing them the success of entrepreneurs is more than likely to prosper.

2)    This book connected to what we are learning in ENT3003 because it gives technical ways you can make your new business prosper. With that being said in this course we learn the general mindset entrepreneurs should have a and when correlated with the technicalities of the subject the overall ideology of entrepreneurship is much more clear.
3)    If I had to design an exercise for this class that correlates to the material read in the book I would tell the students to think of innovative business ideas instead of just general business ideas because based on the book the success of entrepreneurship comes mainly through innovation and providing a product of service that has never been seen before.
4)    The aspect that surprised me most about this read was how important it is in creating a new business to supply anything that has never been seen before because that is what will attract any type of customer base the most. I thought the book was going to be general ideas on how you should become a successful entrepreneur, however, the book was rather technical and I really was not expecting that.
