                     Interviewee #3
1)    My very close friend Valentina Dioguardi works at a food distribution business owned by her father Marcos Dioguardi, I have known her and her family since I was in elementary school. Her father is a very successful business man that owns a food distribution business where he distributes whatever he can get his hands on ranging all the way from popcorn to chicken noodle soup in a can. He has been working in this industry for decades and has built himself quite the empire. He now distributes to Publix and Sam’s Club, along with multiple other supermarket chains and makes a living from this industry.
2)    Important supplier for my industry.
3)    My very close friend from elementary school could provide me her father’s phone number so I gave him a normal call not What’s app because he works within this country. I conducted the interview through a brief phone call because I did not want to waste this busy man’s time.
4)    There was no nature of exchange because like I said Marcos has known me since I was a very little boy and he did not mind answering a few of the questions I pertaining to the industry he is in.
5)    If I include Marcos Dioguardi in my network there is no doubt he could help me find a way to distribute my product throughout the country or at the very least Florida through all the experiences and people he knows. He would be able to distribute my product as well once all the licensing and legal matters that correlate to my product are sorted out.

Reflection: This experience will help me in my future endeavors that pertain to networking because I realized how all three of these successful business men have many things in common. Not only because they all belong to the same industry but because they are all very organized and strong willed individuals that have made their companies grow through the efforts of hard work and dedication. I realized all three of them being very successful value the effort people put in to work more than anything else, therefore, in my future networking events I will be sure to demonstrate I have the will power and am willing to put in the effort necessary to complete any task. The main way this experience differs from my past experiences is because of the fact I had to network over the phone and usually when I have networked in the past it includes being face to face with the person I am networking with.

Idea Napkin #2

1)    You: My name is Ricardo Vazquez and my talents consist of being very good a communicating and organization. My experiences have led to my skills, through being a manager at Boost Mobile I have learned patience and multiple sales tactics that can be applied to everyday life. My aspirations are becoming a prestigious lawyer focused in aeronautics and later applying my knowledge and experiences to build a business within the industry of aviation. I believe my opportunity could play a tremendous role in my life simply because I know the market I am going in to because I am a part of it, not to mention how sustainability is one of the most popular industries at this time.
2)    What are you offering customers: The product I offer provides an easy way to dispose of the waste created by drinking single alcoholic beverages such as beers or can sized drinks. It will be attractive to people in college because of its sustainable aspect while at the same time providing an inexpensive way to drink through using carton to hold the drink itself.
3)    Who are you offering it to? What all my customers have in common is that they will be mostly young college students that care about saving the planet one step at a time. Therefore, it can be said that most of my client base will be college students especially those who are in fraternities and sororities.
4)    Why do they care? The reason why my customers will care about purchasing my product rather than just any random other hand held drink is because of the sustainable aspect it contains, meaning that when you are consuming my product you will be helping save the world one step at a time. Which is a factor many college students believe is crucial and makes them feel better about who they are because it makes them feel like they will be contributing to the contemporary issues the world faces today.
5)    What are your core competencies? I am yet to see at any store an alcoholic beverage that is provided in a sustainable manner. Most of them use cans and glass to hold the beverage they provide. Carton can also stay cold, definitely not as long as aluminum but long enough for the consumer to enjoy their drink at a cold temperature. Not to mention the fact that the product is sustainable, this factor will add to any insecurities the customer may have about the purchase.
